Presque Isle, or almost an island, as defined in French, is a day use state park, open from sunrise to sunset.   At 3,200-acres, the park offers more than a dozen miles of sandy beaches and a thirteen-mile walking, jogging trail. There are numerous outdoor activities at your fingertips:  fishing, swimming, scuba diving, boating, hunting (in season), kite flying, you name it – it’s here.  Hop the ferry between Presque Isle and downtown Erie, relax on a Pontoon boat or take a commercial boat ride around Lake Erie and the surrounding area.  Remember the cameras!
